ZEST Ghana

ZEST distributes, markets and supports a wide range of WEG electric motors, variable speed drives, transformers, and switchgear in Ghana and sub–Saharan Africa.

ZEST is a company headquartered in South Africa and committed to business development and sustainable transformation. ZEST has been part owned (26%) by Medu Capital, a black owned and managed enterprise, since March 2004.

More than 1000 companies across Africa have already chosen ZEST to work alongside them; specifying, designing, planning and implementing soundly engineered solutions for projects as diverse as transformers for the national electrical infrastructure, large mill electric motors in mining applications, or small electric motors for electrically powered lawn mowers.

In addition to the importation and distribution of WEG LV and MV electric motors, drives, transformers and switchgear from Brazil, ZEST also imports vacuum ring main units from Lucy, vibrator motors from Invicta, builds diesel generators (IMS Cape), motor control centres, packaged switchgear solutions (Shaw Controls), distributes most LV and MV power cable (ICS) and offers either turnkey or power co–generation systems (ZEST Energy).
